Party Poker Review

This is our favorite poker room for beginners. This is because it's one of the largest, best run and great support. As a new play you'll find plenty of other new players to play against. Unfortunately players from the USA can't play here, but as Americans are generally skilled players this is great for everyone else.
USA Friendly:
NO. As mentioned above Party Poker doesn't accept real money players from the USA. This is an advantage to new players from the rest of the world as the level of poker is much lower than it used to be when Americans could play!
Game Variety:
No-Limit Texas Hold'em seems to be the most popular game played. Although Party Poker has very good game variety and offers all variations of Texas Hold'em, Omaha, Omaha Hi-Lo, Seven-Card Stud, and Seven-Card Stud Hi-Lo. The huge number of players grantees action at all varieties of poker, making Party Poker an ideal poker site for most players.
Competion: You'll find the competion quite weak at the low and middle-limit games. This is mainly because of Party Poker having to create a new market after dropping USA players. Hence a huge marketing campaign which has brought in a lot of new players.
Graphics, Speed & Stability: There are poker rooms with a lot better graphics and Poker Party is a little bland. On the good side the program is stable and fast unlike other poker rooms, which more than compensates. Also players can download their poker program for Linux, Mac as well as for Windows
Rake:

Not the best, but is better in higher-limit games. This however means a lot of season and top players don't play here, which makes it all the better for new players.

Financial Security: Great. Party Poker is one of the largest and saftest poker rooms there is and has had no reported finacial problems.
Support: Very good. Support is offered in 12 languages and there is 24 hr telephone support with a many toll free regional numbers. The support staff seem to very knowlegeable about there product and are friendly. There is also email support for less urgent issues.
