Big SlickIn Texas Hold'em, when you hold an Ace King it is known as a "Big Slick". Originally a Big slick was the an Ace of Spades and a King of Spades:
Being dealt a Big Slick in a Texas Hold'em game is a great start and should be played aggressively pre-flop. With an ace, king as hole cards you have about a 1:2 chance of obtaining a high pair with the flop. You also have the possibility of a top straight ten to ace and a chance of a top or high Flush which is improved if you have the Ace King suited. A Big Slick (A-K) has about a 50:50 chance against any pair (apart from A-A or K-K) pre-flop. However, if your hand doesn't improve with the flop you should proceed with caution. Play Big Slicks Aggressively pre-Flop and be cautious
if you don't get a pair or draw on the Flop.
