In the next four parts you'll learn some of the basics. Each lesson is straight forward and you should be able to complete this section fairly quickly. Remember you can always come back and repeat a lesson.

We are going to learn about:

• Poker hands, (card combinations of 5 cards).

• Ranking of hands, (which card combinations beat other lower combinations).

• The objectives of poker and the ways to win.

• Common terms used in poker.

After you have completed the three lesson you will be able to use the first of our flash tutorials. However you may know something already and you can go straight to the How to Play Texas Hold'em Tutorial.
